Childhood Memories

Paper boats sail across,
Paper rockets flying cross,
Ribbets of the male frog,
Cicadas love song,
Gastropods on a lengthy walk,
Butterflies and dragon flies,
caterpillars and grass hoppers,
In the garden free and wild,
A new world is born.

Geckos waiting for its prey,
Spiders hastily building webs,
Yellow snake beside the lemon tree,
white bougan villas and puple anthuriums,
Hydranges and white lillies,
Jack fruit and mango trees,
Doves busy building nest,
Squirrels racing by
Kites floating in the sky
